One more each round
When you repeat the whole sequence, the next round adds one bell to the end. One wrong bell ends the game.
Winning
Your score is the longest sequence you repeated. Reach 9 or more to win. The daily ranks the longest sequence, then the fastest.
Tips to win at Bells
- Say the bell names in your head as they ring, like “moon, star, star, wave”.
- Group the sequence in threes or fours, as you would a phone number.

About Bells
Repeating a sequence back is one of the oldest tests of short-term memory. Psychologists have measured memory span with strings of digits since the 1880s, and most people can hold about seven items at once. Spatial versions, where you repeat a path of lit blocks or tones, test the same skill with places and sounds.
