How to play Five Dice
Five Dice is a classic roll-and-score dice game for one player. Roll five dice up to three times a turn, keep the ones you want, then score the result in one of 13 boxes. Fill the card for the best total you can. A game takes 5 to 10 minutes.

How to play Five Dice
Roll and hold
Roll all five dice, then tap the ones to keep. You get up to three rolls a turn.
Pick a box
Score the dice in one of 13 boxes. Gold numbers show what each box gives you now.
Fill the card
After 13 turns every box is filled. Reach 63 in the upper boxes for a +35 bonus.
Complete Five Dice rules
Turns
13 turns. Each turn, roll all five dice, then reroll any you don’t hold, up to three rolls in all.
Upper boxes
Ones to Sixes score the sum of that face. 63 or more in the six boxes adds +35.
Lower boxes
Three and Four of a kind score the total of all five dice. Full house scores 25, Small straight 30, Large straight 40 and Five of a kind 50. Chance scores any dice.
The end
After 13 turns the card is full. Your total, with the bonus, is your score, and 200 or more is a win.
Tips to win at Five Dice
- Aim for the upper bonus early. Three of each face in the upper boxes reaches 63.
- Keep Chance for a bad turn, since it takes any dice.
- When a turn goes wrong, score 0 in a box you were unlikely to fill, such as Five of a kind.

About Five Dice
Games of rolling five dice for scoring hands go back to old tavern dice games such as poker dice. The score-card form, with upper boxes for each face and lower boxes for hands, became a family favorite in the 20th century. Our Five Dice uses the classic boxes with its own card and a daily where everyone gets the same dice.
