Setup
Deal 28 cards into seven columns, with one card in the first column, two in the second and so on up to seven in the last. Only the top card of each column is face up. The other 24 cards form the stock.
Moving cards
Build down in alternating colors, like a black 9 on a red 10. You can move a whole run of face-up cards together, and only a King can fill an empty column. Draw from the stock one or three cards at a time when you need new cards.
Scoring
Standard scoring rewards every card moved to a foundation and every hidden card you turn over. Vegas scoring starts at −52 and pays 5 for each card on a foundation.
Winning
You win when all 52 cards are on the four foundations, each built up by suit from Ace to King.
Tips to win at Solitaire
- Turn over hidden cards first. Free the columns with the most face-down cards.
- Don’t empty a column unless a King is ready to move into it.
- Don’t rush cards to the foundations. Low cards often help you build in the tableau.
